Eligibility:

The Scholarship is open to individuals: (a) 18 years and older; (b) who are legal residents of the U.S; and (c) who are not already enrolled in the Course at the Realty School. Officers, directors and agents of Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. or its affiliates are not eligible to participate in the Scholarship. Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By applying, participating or accepting a Scholarship, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. may change, suspend or terminate the Scholarship at any time (subject to applicable law) and will provide notification of any changes on its website at https:www.finchandgable.com (“Site”).

Scholarship Application Process and Period:

To apply, you must go to the Site and enter your name, address, phone number, city, state, zip code, email address, phone number, fill out our assessment, you may be invited to an optional event, or be asked to send Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. a video, on the Scholarship page at https://www.realestatescholarshipnow.com/join-today.

By completing an application, you represent that the information you are providing to Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. is truthful and accurate. Any applicant who is not at least 18 years of age during the Application Period will not be considered. Incomplete applications will not be considered and Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. retains the right to reject applications for failure to comply with these Terms or meet eligibility requirements.

Scholarship Selection and Award:

At the close of the Application Period, Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. or its designated third party will, in its sole discretion, evaluate each Scholarship application it receives during the Application Period to determine the potential recipients of the Awards. Selected applicants will be interviewed by a Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. representative. 

The Awards consist of a limited number of scholarships in the amount of $500 per selected potential recipient to cover tuition and required book costs at the Realty School with Finch & Gable Real Estate Co.'s preferred rate. Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. will submit the Awards directly to the Realty School, and Awards Recipients must enroll in the Course through Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. to remain eligible. Recipients must complete the Course and cannot change or select a different course in connection with the Scholarship. The Awards do not cover state license or exam fees.

Awards Notification:

Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. will notify the potential Awards recipients via email or telephone communication based on the information provided. In the event a potential Award recipient does not respond to notification within five (5) days or does not return the affidavit of eligibility and publicity release, Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. may disqualify the applicant. Potential Awards recipients are subject to verification and compliance with these Terms.

The Sponsor reserves the right to modify the Scholarship and all Awards, in its sole discretion. All state, federal and local taxes or other expenses related to the acceptance of the Awards are the sole responsibility of the Award recipient. All Awards are non-transferrable.

Working with Finch & Gable Real Estate Co.

Prior to accepting and receiving an Award, Awards recipients will be required to commit to working with Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. as an independent contractor performing real estate agent services for a term of twelve (12) months if Finch & Gable Real Estate Co., in its sole discretion, makes the Award recipient an offer to work as an independent contractor. Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. reserves the right to offer, deny, or terminate the independent contractor arrangement at any time, including during the course of the performance of any independent contractor duties, and for any reason. Awards recipients understand and acknowledge that they are not employees of Finch & Gable Real Estate Co..

Publicity Release:

Completing a Scholarship application constitutes your authorization for Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents and licensees to use Scholarship applicant’s or recipient’s name, likeness, city, state, photo, statements and other information in connection with the Scholarship for promotional, advertising, trade and/or other purposes, in perpetuity, worldwide, in any and all media, without further compensation or notification, unless prohibited by law. Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. shall not incur any liability whatsoever to the extent it chooses to partake or refrain from any exploitation of its rights hereunder. Awards recipients will be required to provide an affidavit of eligibility and publicity release prior to receiving an Award.

Limitation of Liability:

By applying to this Scholarship, all applicants and recipients hereby waive and release, and agree to hold harmless, Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. from and against any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death, and/or property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their participation in the Scholarship or receipt of an Award. Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, delayed, incomplete or misdirected applications, or for any technical failure of the Site or any technology related to the application or Scholarship.

Disputes:

Each Scholarship applicant and recipient agrees that all disputes or claims related to the Scholarship shall be resolved individually, without resort to a class action, and all proceedings shall take place in federal or state court in the state of Colorado, applying Colorado law (without regard to conflict of law provisions). 

Privacy:

By submitting an application for the Scholarship, you agree to be contacted by Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. and acknowledge that Finch & Gable Real Estate Co. may add your information to its database. All information collected will be collected as described in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.realestatescholarshipnow.com/privacy-policy.
